I was introduced to a Japanese ultralight cottage manufacture last week via the TA Face Book group.
The company is called KS Ultralight Gear.

I like their KS packs. They look very similar to the Mountain Laurel Design (MLD) packs.
I note that there are many opportunities to totally customise (build your own) your pack.
They do have tarps and some other accessories.
